What a way to enjoy over-the-hump day! Jack Mosley, well-known throughout the Trop Rock music network for his outstanding work, is making his first ever visit to Pittsburgh. We know his fans, Phlockers and Parrot Heads will come out to give him the huge welcome he deserves. Jack has performed at MOTM, Phlocking of the Phaithful and many other events. He is also the creator of the annual event, “Trop Rocks the Smokies. ”Jack will have CDs (including his newest just-released CD) and merchandise available at this show.
Immediately following Jack’s show another Phlocking favorite takes the stage, Pittsburgh’s own Corned Beef & Curry Band. John McCann, Bob Bannerjee and Todd Hartman are living proof that you can always expect the unexpected! They are fantastic musicians, with a little craziness mixed in. Be ready for Irish, rock, tropical, original and cover music – and you’ll probably see players from both bands on stage during each other’s shows!
The Beach Bar at Wright’s Seafood Inn has become a favorite location for locals and musicians alike. You can unwind at the bar, enjoy great food, and listen to music at a fantastic outdoor venue. This show could be a sell-out, it’s a good idea to bring a beach chair! And if it rains, the restaurant and bar are large enough to accommodate a crowd.
